Transmissions Briefing A deep-space relay near Aletheia picked up a routine navigational broadcast from a passing trade vessel. The signal was logged, archived, and forgotten. Nothing more than standard lane chatter.

But an analyst flagged the recording weeks later. The vessel's transponder didn't match any registered route through the sector, from there, suspicion arose.
