During a digital forensics sweep of the condemned Ashwood Asylum, investigators recovered two files from a corrupted backup drive:

encoder.py — the facility's legacy patient record serialiser, WARD Records Management System v0.3.1 patient_0x11.ward — a sealed record from an unnamed patient The encoding software has no --decode flag. The original developers are gone. The documentation was shredded.
