A messenger from the ghats of Kashi left behind a sacred passphrase sealed in an old temple registry image. Before vanishing into the alleys of Banaras, he blurred the inscription to hide it from prying eyes. The priests insist the text is gone forever, but traces of the original glyphs still remain.
