We found a small bomb device in a trash bin but don't know how to defuse it ! Luckily, someone called the police to warn them about the bomb they've planted and we were able to identify the location of the person who called. SWAT team raided the place and found some sort of electronics lab in a complete mess (see pictures in attachment). Nothing fancy there, lots of electronics parts, prototype boards, some microcontrollers, various soldering gear ... Pictures taken by the forensic team are available below.

They've also found what looks like a compiled firmware named after the place we found the explosive device, available for download as well.

The clock is ticking and we need to find a way to defuse this explosive device before it is too late, we definitely need your expert skills to understand how this device works and how to safely defuse it !

Important note:

do not solder anything directly on the pogo pins but please come see us instead, we have specific gear to connect a prototype board to these pins, black wires connecting the fake dynamite sticks to the electronics are fake ones to make the device more realistic, don't try to remove or cut them. We have many fake bombs available, come to our desk and ask for one. If you need extra hardware or tools, just ask for it. We have digital multimeters, prototyping boards, wire spools, solder and soldering irons, resistors, capacitors, switches and tactile switches, pin headers, some Rasp Pi Pico, Arduino Nanos, ESP32s... Of course, these are lent and should be returned to us once you are done with this task, or once the CTF is over.
