At the remote Boreal-7 research station, ECHO-9 survived a watchdog reset and spoke briefly before accepting a maintenance update. What it remembered has become more important than what it measured.

The gateway is gone. A firmware image, EEPROM dump, UART capture, network capture, maintenance package, and an incomplete incident note are all that remain. Reconstruct the incident and recover the diagnostic secret sealed in the update.

All devices and traffic are fictional. This is an offline investigation; no hardware or external service is required.
